Hypnosis is the most effective way of giving up smoking
according to the largest ever study on the comparison of methods to crack the habit.1 The results, published in the New Scientist2, reveal that willpower counts for distressingly little (6% success rate) and nicotine patches do not fare much better (10% success rate). Christopher Pattinson, academic chairman of the British Society of Medical & Dental Hypnosis said that the latest relaxation techniques achieve success rates of up to 60 per cent from a single session.
The only people who did better than hypnotherapy subjects were people who had just been told that they had serious cardiac disorders - the thought of incipient death predictably has the power to concentrate the mind! But if you'd like to kick the habit while it's still your idea instead of your doctor's, the study suggests that you can't do better than hypnotherapy.

Giving Up Smoking the New Tomorrows Way
Session One: A one to one and a half hour session where I find out about you and your smoking triggers. You will go into trance during this session to experience the relaxing sensation. This will make you more comfortable for the trancework in ...
Session Two: A one hour session where the hypnotherapy is targeted directly on your smoking. This is the session where you give up!
Session Three: A little extra support about one week after session two, just to remind you about the new you.

"I've lost 10 kilos - and never felt better. Best of all is knowing I've always had the potential to change - I just needed someone to show me how"
